Shutter Island Movie directed by Martin Scorsese

Director Martin Scorsese is working on the movie adaptation of Shutter Island written by Dennis Lehane. The movie is starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Mark Ruffalo. The movie Shutter Island is expected to be released in October 2009.

What happened to patient 67?

Plot:
"In 1954, two U.S. marshals investigate the disappearance of a patient from a hospital for the criminally insane on an island in Massachusetts. They run into trouble when they are deceived by others, a hurricane hits and when an inmate riot traps them on the island."

Actor Mark Rufallo said about Shutter Island:

"This could be one of Scorsese's great films. He gets to do everything he loves about film: noir, dream sequences, suspense, tough urban stuff. It’s absolute madness, twist upon twist."

I can but believe him. And with Leonardo DiCaprio in the lead role I am sure that the movie Shutter Island will be a masterpiece in the genre!
